WinterEx_2.JPGSimilar to last year, the thermometer at this last weekend's Freewheel's Winter Bike Expo dropped bringing out an enthusiastic crowd for the third annual event. Held each year around the 7th of December, at the Bike Center on the Midtown Greenway, in South Minneapolis, Minn, fun was had by all that attended.

With the focus on winter bike riding many brand of fat tire bicycles were on display and available for demos. With the cold temps outside, many conversations, over the rows of bikes inside, were centered around the best warm clothing and other accessories/gear available for winter riding.

With hot beverages and tasty snacks available at the food counter at the Bike Center, everyone also had a chance to meet Kristy from the Beez Kneez Honey House, some of the crew from the Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Area and a number of MORC members at their table to here about the exciting winter bike schedule.
