MN Ironman Bike Ride Takes You Through the Scenic St. Croix River Valley

100_5119.JPG100_5118.JPGThe original Ironman® endurance event, the Minnesota Ironman® Bicycle Ride will host approximately 4,500 cyclists for its 48th annual kickoff to the spring cycling season, the last Sunday in April. It is the longest running organized bicycle ride in the state of Minnesota, and provides routes for all ages and skill levels.

The Minnesota Ironman® is hosted by Hostelling International-USA and supports their non-profit mission and work here in Minnesota. They operate the Mississippi Headwaters Hostel in Itasca State Park.

2014 Ride Info

It all happens Sunday, April 27, 2014, at the Washington County Fairgrounds

100_5149.JPG6:30 - 9:30 a.m. Registration open & riders begin (Since this is not a race, riders may begin their route as soon as they're registered) Pre-register today to save, avoid the long line at day-of registration. 

At 10 a.m. all riders must have started their ride and by 5:30 p.m. all riders must have finished the course selected.

100_5154.JPGStart and end the ride at Ride Headquarters, at the Washington County Fairgrounds, at the center of all routes. Routes travel through the Minnesota communities of Stillwater, Afton, Lake Elmo, Scandia, Marine on the St. Croix and Oak Park Heights.
