Tour de Fat Benefits BikeMN

Many thanks to those of you that attended and volunteered for the Bicycle alliance of Minnesota (BikeMN) during the Tour de Fat, at Loring Park in Minneapolis, on July 10th.

With an estimated 4,000 people attending, the New Belgium Brewery donated all the proceeds from the merchandise sales to BikeMN. The Midtown Greenway Association and the Minneapolis Off-Road Cycling Advocates benefitted from the beer sales and registration. BikeMN’s share of the profits was almost $3,000 of the $16,000 total raised for the three nonprofits. And fun was had by all.
